Even for those who do not consider themselves to be gourmets, Slavonia and Baranya are places to discover hidden passions for excellent food and superb wines. - Osijek sightseeing – the biggest and major town of the region, cultural and economic center, with “Tvrđa” – one of the most beautiful and valuable old city cores in Croatia from 18th ct
- Nature Park “Kopački rit” – internationally important marshes
- beautiful small towns with valuable cultural heritage:
- Požega – colorful historical town, with one of the most beautiful and charming old town cores, built by Italian artists in Baroque style, during 18th ct.
- Đakovo – since 1239 Bishops residence, with the St. Peter’s cathedral – according to the words of Pope John XXIII the most beautiful cathedral between Venice and Constantinople
- Vinkovci – rich in traditional Slavonian atmosphere, inhabited during last 8000 years, here the first European calendar “Orion” was found
- Vukovar – the Croatian phoenix town, with a long cultural tradition, well known for finding place of Vučedol culture (Eneolithik – Cooper Age, 3000-2200 B.C.).
- Županja – a town where in 19th ct. for the first time football and tennis where plaid in Croatia.
- Slavonski Brod, a border town, beautifully situated on the banks of Sava river with the biggest church in Slavonia, and the preserved part of military Fortress Brod, from 18th ct.
- Castles of Counts Pejačevicć, Counts Prandau-Norman, Family Mailath and Castle of Prince Eugen von Savoyen that speak beautiful stories about past times
- visits to local wine-cellars and wine-tasting; including visits to old wine-cellars of Kutjevo from 13th ct. and Ilok – from 16th ct
- tours of a traditional village homesteads with ethnographic collections
- dinners/lunches at a local restaurant with live traditional folk music
